| White Christmas
There's an ice/snow storm going on in Seattle right now. BG got his car stuck last week and had to hike his way up the hill back home. Last night, his friend and him got stuck on a hill for two hours.
For work, I've been trekking down the hill for one hour to wait for the bus at the Park and Ride for 45 minutes along with bumming rides off of BG's friends. This morning, my boss had to pick my co-worker and me up cuz we couldn't get to work on our cars. It's a weird time of the year.....
Change of topic:
I LOVE her tights. They look hot. =p

| I Do Bridal
I went to try on wedding dresses today with my parents at I Do Bridal.
I was surprised at how little the wedding gowns were priced... Maybe it's because I thought the average price was $2, 000! (which is still a lot). I think most women may have blown their budget way out of the water and that's why they ended up with that number. Personally, I think it's ridiculous to pay so much money for something you'll wear for ONE DAY and for something that kind of reminds me of a prom dress, but white. *sigh*
I was also surprised that they would not let me take pictures..... ANY pictures unless the gown(s) was purchased. Their website did not represent any of the dresses I've tried on, only similar ones....
Also, when you go wedding dress shopping, you can't just shop. You HAVE TO set up an APPOINTMENT otherwise people get upset at you. Seriously? Why is that necessary? Can't I just come and go as I wish like regular shopping? I guess not. No Ophelia, this is not regular shopping. It's wedding ($$$$$$$$) shopping.
Second... I was surprised that what I had in my mind, I ended up not really liking on me, but what I didn't think I would like... my parents and I ended up liking. Neither my parents or I cried or whatever it is... I just felt like I was trying a dress on. Maybe it hasn't hit all of us yet.
Third... I'm still unsure about this whole wedding dress shopping process. I mean.. .I didn't find "the one." Am I supposed to find the one and react to it when I find it instantly or if I ever do?? Is there really "the one"??? Why is choosing a dress so much harder than finding someone to marry?
Last, BG does not want anything to do with seeing any of these dresses or helping me pick his favorite features beforehand. He said he wanted to be surprised... Does he want to cry that day or something?? That just leaves a lot of pressure on me, because I asked him if he assumed that any white dress will look good and right on me. He said no, but that he trusted me- that I would pick the right one. WHAT?! THERE IS A RIGHT ONE??!?!?!!!!! What if the dress I pick doesn't make him cry OR smile?
Maybe I should spray paint my old prom dress white.

| So many things going on at work.. I think they will all be good in the long run for everyone.
My department will be short handed for a while, but I've definitely got the support from all my co-workers.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm on to do great things. Sometimes, I feel I lack that.
